Lake Metroparks is dedicated to its community and supports fundraising activities of charitable organizations in Lake County and adjacent counties.  Discount passes (buy one, get one free) to Erie Shores Golf Course, Pine Ridge Country Club and/or Lake Metroparks Farmpark are provided to eligible organizations.  These passes are most often used as door or raffle prizes, or auction items.  Lake Metroparks does NOT donate monetary amounts (cash) of any kind, for any event.  Eligible organizations may receive one donation request fulfillment in a 12-month period (once per calendar year).

PREFERRED GROUPS

Agencies that have a mission and purpose that supports or is similar to Lake Metroparks as well as organizations/events in Lake County or adjacent counties are preferred; support for out-of-county requests is limited.

The following information must be included on the organization’s letterhead:

• Organization name, description/purpose and IRS 501c3 tax identification number
• Date of event
• Description and purpose of event, expected number of attendees and who will benefit from proceeds raised
• Description of intended use for donations in your event
• Mailing address to which the donation should be sent
• Contact person’s name, daytime phone number, email address and mailing address

A response will be issued within 15 business days upon receipt of each complete request; incomplete requests will not be considered.  Please do not call to request a donation or to inquire about the status of a donation request.  An organization with multiple fundraisers within the calendar year may submit additional request(s) for consideration.  Priority is given to Lake County (Ohio) organizations and events/organizations that support/align with the mission and purpose of Lake Metroparks.

SPECIAL REQUESTS/IN-KIND SERVICES

Requests for items or services beyond the standard discount pass donation package may be considered by the Executive Director and/or Board of Park Commissioners.  A letter of request specifying the specific item/service requested should be submitted via the same procedure detailed above.
