Wild & Free: Let it Be

As we take a well-deserved nature break for fresh air, exercise or getting an early start on gardening, you may happen upon a baby animal appearing to look scared and helpless. The first and most important question is: should you intervene? Nine out of ten times the answer is no. Wildlife parents have a strong natural bond and instinct to raise their young. They utilize a lot of energy toward their young and do not abandon them without reason. The vast majority of young animals are not in any need of human assistance; they need your distance. After all, there's no better mother than Mother Nature, so WILD & FREE: LET IT BE!

Please click here for reliable guidance on what to do about orphaned or injured wildlife and if/when you should interfere.
