STRONG CABIN
The Strong Cabin is located in the Hogback Ridge Park in Madison, Ohio. It is in a private, rustic area with a beautiful panoramic view of the Grand River.
This cabin offers:
- Two bedrooms, each with two sets of bunk beds
- Living room with wood burning fireplace, Adirondack type chairs and futon
- Kitchen with stove and oven, full-size refrigerator, sink, microwave, table and chairs and wood burning stove for heat. There is minimal cooking equipment. Place settings for 8
- Bathroom consists of toilet and sink. There are no bathing facilities
- Pond for fishing for cabin guests only
- Picnic tables, grills and fire ring
- Bottled drinking water
- Camper will provide own linens and towels
Fees:
$60 per night midweek (Mon-Thurs)*
$70 per night weekend (Fri-Sun)*
$370 per week (7 nights)
Arrival: 3 pm or after
Departure: 11 am or before
Maximum sleeping capacity is 8

RESOURCE CENTER
The Resource Center is located in Madison, Ohio on Palisades Road. This ranch-style cabin with covered front porch is in a semi-secluded area.
This cabin offers:
- Two bedrooms, each with two sets of bunk beds
- Living room with wood burning fireplace, sofas and Adirondack type chairs and futon
- Kitchen with stove and oven, full-size refrigerator, microwave, sink, table and chairs. There is minimal cooking equipment. Place settings for 8
- Bathroom consists of toilet, sink and shower over tub
- Heated with forced air furnace
- Hiking trails and wetland/pond for fishing, within walking distance
- Hidden Valley and Hogback Ridge parks within 5 minute drive
- Picnic tables, grill and fire ring
- Bottled drinking water
- Camper will provide own linens and towels
- TV with cable.

LAKE METROPARKS CABIN RULES AND REGULATIONS
Thank you for choosing a Lake Metroparks cabin for your camping experience. To ensure both a quality and safe experience, please review the following rules and regulations:
- Maximum sleeping capacity in each cabin is 8. Additional campers must be pre-approved.
- Site capacity is 16 during non-sleeping hours.
- Tents may be used on the grounds adjacent to the cabin with prior approval.
- Noise curfew is 10 pm. After normal park curfew, ½ hour after sunset, guests must remain within 150 feet of camping area.
- The renter (responsible party) must be 21 years of age or older.
- Gate should remain closed but not locked at all times the cabin is being used.
- No open fires, weapons, firearms or hunting. Grills and a limited amount of firewood are supplied. Firewood is located outside in a box marked "Firewood".
- Fishing is permitted at the adjacent ponds/wetlands for cabin guests only. Size and bag limits are posted.
- Swimming not permitted.
- Pets are not permitted.
- Alcohol permitted within cabin only. No smoking inside the cabin.
- Clean up consists of garbage bagged, tied and left outside in appropriate receptacle. All floors swept with the broom and dustpan provided. Spills cleaned if necessary. Kitchen, bathroom and bedroom areas wiped down. All signs, decorations and tape must be completely removed. No pins, tacks or holes in the walls.
- Supplies available at each cabin include mop, bucket, broom, and garbage bags.
- Extinguish all fires indoor and outdoors prior to departure.
- All park rules and regulations apply.

RESERVATION PROCEDURE AND INFORMATION
Lake Metroparks is pleased to provide the opportunity to experience cabin camping at two locations in Madison, Ohio. The Strong Cabin is located in the Hogback Ridge Reservation and the Resource Center is located on Palisades Road in Madison. Both are available for reservations on a nightly or weekly basis year-round.
Cabin reservations for Lake County residents are accepted for both cabins not more than 6 months in advance. For out-of county residents, reservations are accepted not more than 5 months in advance. Reservations must be made at least 10 days in advance. Two-night minimum stay is required.
To reserve a cabin, a $100 refundable deposit (cash or check) and the rental fee is due at time of reservation.
Cabin keys may be picked up at the Registration Department or Farmpark up to two business days prior to rental. Keys must be returned to appropriate facility within two business days following rental. The security deposit will be refunded within 10 days after return of keys and inspection of cabin.

FACILITY RESERVATION REFUND POLICY
Cancellation of a facility reservation within 30 days will result in loss of 50% of total fees unless Lake Metroparks is able to rent the cancelled facility. The security deposit is refundable. Cancellation of a wedding package is handled under separate policies and procedures. Contact the Registration Department for details.
