Event Information

Newborn lamb at Farmpark Children will talk for weeks about their experiences making ice cream, snowshoeing, meeting newborn calves, piglets, and sheep, and more.

Children can participate in hands-on activities scheduled throughout the day in addition to the regular daily Farmpark daily events.

Hands-on activities

  • Ice cream making at Discovery DaysMaking ice cream, bread, and preparing stone soup
  • Make play clay, hand-dipped candles, and other crafts
  • See newborn calves, lambs, and piglets at play
  • Watch sheep shearing and lead a sheep around during "Sheepercize"
  • Meet Cowboy Ben as he teaches the art of roping
  • Snowshoeing, weather permitting.
  • Discover renewable energy
  • Tour the Quilt Show featuring more than 200 quilted works.
  • Discover the process of maple sugaring at the Woodland Center.

Directions
Take I-90 to the Rt. 306 exit. Head south on Route 306 five miles to Chardon Road (Route 6), turn left on Route 6, and head east one mile. Entrance to Farmpark is on the right.
