Kids out of school? Bring them to Lake Metroparks Farmpark where they can discover what life on a farm is like. They’ll meet cows, pigs, sheep, and horses; learn how bread is made and much more at the annual Farmpark Discovery Day events. Children can participate in a variety hands-on activities scheduled throughout the day
in addition to the regular daily Farmpark events.

- Make ice cream the old-fashioned way
- Help prepare and learn the story of stone soup
- Make your own hand-dipped candle and play clay
- Discover renewable energy
- Discover the process of maple sugaring at the Woodland Center

- Children ages 2 to11 FREE on Discovery Day
with paid adult*
- Ages 60+, $5
- Ages 12 to 59, $6
- Children younger than 2, free
- Farmpark members, free

Take I-90 to the Rt. 306 exit.
Head south on Route 306 five miles to Chardon Road
(Route 6), turn left on Route 6, and head east one mile. Entrance to Farmpark is on the right.
