Children’s books will be provided for our younger guests by Geauga West Library to read to one of our wonderfully trained therapy dogs.
This program provides a fun, non-judgmental and comfortable environment where children read to the dogs.
Reading to Rover, along with other canine reading was developed to help children improve their reading skills. Students involved in such programs experience not only improved reading skills, but decreased school absenteeism, increased frequency of completed homework assignments and improved social skills and self confidence. Stop by the Grain Room (located in the Arena) to discover and participate in this program.
