Join us for our annual celebration of all things buggy! Live bugs, games, activities, and crafts at this FREE event.
Insects are the largest group of living things on the planet, and the majority of them can fly! From the beautiful butterflies flying from flower to flower to the pesky mosquitoes flying around your head, our skies are filled with these wonderful winged creatures. Join us as we explore the world of flying insects with different activities and games, crafts and love bugs, as well as meeting some of our animal ambassadors and learning how these insects have a huge impact on them as well. Bug Day: Wondrous World of Wings will be a fun and engaging event for the whole family!
No registration required. Miniature steam train rides will be offered, courtesy of the Lake Shore Live Steamers from 1 to 3 pm weather permitting. Note: For safety reasons, pregnant women are not permitted to ride the trains. All children must be able to sit in their own designated seat; lap sitting is not permitted.
