Lake Metroparks offers a wide variety of programs designed for girls and boys of all ages. Hands-on learning adventures focus on animals, arts/science, nature and outdoor skills. All programs are led by professional staff at our parks and most are available year-round. Please note, our instructors are not merit badge counselors. Please schedule at least two weeks in advance; call 440-358-7275 between 8 am and 4:30 pm weekdays. Be prepared with first and second choice of dates and times and have the “Registration Checklist” information ready when you call. Spring and fall dates fill well in advance!

  • Per person program fees vary according to length of program.
  • There is a minimum charge for ten participants regardless of group size.

Lake Metroparks Eagle & Gold Award Scout Projects

Complete your Eagle or Gold Award Scout project with Lake Metroparks. We have an ongoing list of possible projects that candidates or troops can adopt. For more information, please call Dominic at 440-256-2118 x4113.

Scout Service Projects

Lake Metroparks welcomes your group to contribute to the stewardship of park natural areas. Litter cleanups, non-native plant removal or special projects are available. Lake Metroparks offers a wide variety of programs designed to meet scout recognition requirements for girls and boys of all ages. Contact the volunteer department at 440-585-3041 x6418 to inquire about/arrange projects.
